Super Green Smoothie

This super green smoothie will turbo charge your day.  Whether you choose callaloo, moringa, spinach or arugula leaves this smoothie delivers a wide range of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, proteins and more.  Follow these links to check out the nutritional value of callaloo, moringa, spinach and arugula.  We all know how good avocado is for us but did you know that the avocado pit also packs a healthy punch?  Combine all these with coconut water, aloe vera, turmeric, hemp protein and pineapple juice and we have a winner.

What you need and how to make it:green smoothie

1 organic avocado
1/2 organic avocado pit
1 tightly packed cup of organic callaloo/moringa/spinach/arugula (any of these or a mixture is great)
1 organic aloe leaf, pealed and drained
1/2 cup of organic coconut water
1/2 cup of organic pineapple juice
2 tbsp organic hemp protein
2 tbsp organic coconut oil
1 inch organic turmeric
1 cup of ice

Add honey if you prefer a sweet smoothie and more juice or coconut water if you don’t like it thick.  Place all items in your Vitamix blender and blend on medium to high speed.  We recommend Vitamix because the avocado pit may be too much for less powerful machines.
